Question 1:In description: ...batteries are sealed & not replaceable. . in product info: 2 aa required (included). if solar then why need batteries?

Answer:Solar lights use batteries in this way, during the day the sunshine recharges the batteries so they light up at night. I have these lights and they are beautiful.

Question 2:Do lights turn on/off by themselves or must they be set by hand?
